Turbokick class at Higbee's gym!

Hey ladies,

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have a hard time getting on a treadmill to workout. I need something engaging to keep me motivated. A friend of mine is certified to teach this crazy fun workout called Turbokick and I thought it would be fun to have her come teach a class once a week at the Higbee's gym (on Canyon Heights). If you haven't heard of Turbokick, it's a workout that combines shadow boxing, kickboxing, sports drills and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere where losing weight is a side effect of having FUN (got that cheesy description from the website)! The format is specially crafted to strengthen and tone the entire body, reshaping every muscle with a special focus on the abs and waistline. Believe me when I say, I'm the least coordinated person when it comes to dancing and that sort of thing, so don't not try it just because you think you'll look silly, because chances are, you will (at least at first)! The class is going to be Thursday nights from 8-9 pm. Depending on how many people I can get that are interested, it will just be a couple dollars a class (just to pay the $15 to rent the gym and pay the instructor a little). You don't have to commit to anything, it'll just be a come when you can thing and you'll just pay at the class.
