Angie's Sugar Cookies

I've had quite a few people ask for the recipe for the yummy sugar cookies Angie Espinoza made for the sisters on Valentines Day. Here it is:
1 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
1 C softened butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
Mix together. Add 1 egg and mix then stir in 2 1/2 C flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp cream of tartar. Refrigerate till able to handle and roll out. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 mins. Enjoy:)

I like to frost with cream cheese frosting:
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 C butter
2 tsp vanilla
beat till fluffy then add 5 3/4 - 6 1/4 C powdered sugar.
