Agency is a precious gift offered to us by our Savior. Agency is our right to choose between good and evil. We are free to choose our course of action, but not the consequences. (2Nephi 2:27) We may choose liberty and eternal life, or captivity and death. There are only 2 choices, Christ or the devil. Agency must involve 4 things: 1- Eternal laws (D&C 130:20-21) 2- Choice (2Nephi 2:27-28 and 2Nephi 10:23) 3- Freedom (2Nephi 2:11-12) 4- Knowledge (Moroni 7: 13, 15-16). Knowledge gives us power and strength. Our desire to obey becomes greater and greater. Opposition is necessary. (2Nephi 2:16) "man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other."
