Heavenly Father knew that we would all face challenges and be required to make decisions beyond our own ability to decide correctly. He has given us help through the Holy Ghost as spiritual guidance. The Lord knows that we will grow as we struggle to gain knowledge and learn how to be led by the Spirit. This takes practice. We must seek, study, pray, and be prepared. Have a pencil and paper to write feelings and inspirations down. Review guidance you have received and ask the Lord if you have recorded it accurately and if there is more. Sometimes hearing the voice of the Lord is like hearing a pebble being tossed into the Mississippi River . We must block out other distractions Strong emotions such as anger, fear, pride, stress, and passion can mask the Spirit. Sin, addictions, and pornography are destructive to our Spirit and can be overcome by repentance and righteousness.
