This year, our annual Stake Women's Conference will be held on Saturday, February 7th, at 10:00 AM, in the Stake Center Chapel.
The theme of this conference will be "A Perfect Brightness of Hope" and it will be our joy to welcome Sister Chieko Okazaki as our guest speaker. We can think of none better to deliver a clear and bright message of hope! Sister Okazaki has a practical, yet cheerful view of life and has brought strength to people all over the world. She is the child of humble Japanese laborers on a plantation on the big island of Hawaii. She was converted from Buddhism to the LDS Church at age fifteen, and has since served on the general boards of the Primary and Young Women's Organizations, in the Relief Society General Presidency, and as a mission president's wife in Okinawa, Japan.
She has authored numerous inspirational books and is a much loved speaker who exudes warmth, fun, and a love for the Gospel with a twinkle in her eye and her feet on the ground. We hope each sister will put this on her calendar as a "Don't Miss!"
