Sunday Fireside

Sisters,
Our ward is having a fireside Sunday, April 26th at 7:00 in the Chapel. Bro. Ken Knapton from the Manila 1st Ward has been highly recommended by Pres. Richards to share with us his expertise on "Family Safety in the Digital World." He will address the following subjects:
-What are your kids doing with technology? What are they seeing on the internet, and how can we make it safe?
-Availability and anonimity of pornography
-Social networking: how your kids use it, and what do about it
- Cyber bullying - what, where and why do you care
-malicious software and identity theft
Bishop is recommending that parents decide the appropriate age for bringing their children to this fireside. He is concerned about it being reverent so that everyone attending can feel the Spirit and learn what is important them to know.
There will be no refreshments so that families can return to their homes and continue discussing what they learned together.
